金融 Aid 概述

The term “金融 aid" covers the wide range of 奖学金, 资助, loans and 勤工助学援助提供 to 学生 to help lower their 金融义务 while 参加 BW.

Sources of 金融 aid 包括联邦 and state 政府欧博allbet, BW itself and other offers from high 学校, civic 组织中, public 机构 and private 基金会.

The 金融 Aid Office uses your BW email address as a primary form of 沟通. Be sure to check this email address to stay up to date with any 请求 or 通知 from the 金融 Aid team.
The Free 应用程序 for 联邦学生 Aid (FAFSA) is 要求 for 接收 all 联邦 and (即援助 at BW, 包括 but not limited to 联邦, state, and BW Grants. For more 信息 on FAFSA 资格 please visit the 联邦学生 aid site.
You will need to file a FAFSA every year to 收到 a 全面的金融 aid offer letter.

Before each year of 大学的时候, apply for aid with the Free 应用程序 for 联邦学生 Aid (FAFSA) form. BW uses your FAFSA data to 确定 your 联邦 aid 资格 and to award 机构 aid.

After 提交, you'll 收到 your 学生 Aid Report via the email address you 提供 on your FAFSA. You will NOT 收到 a 金融 aid offer from BW unless you file a FAFSA.

You must add the BW school code, 003014, to your FAFSA for your aid to be 综述了 at BW.

课程注册、计费流程和财政援助支出如何协同工作?

Once you have 注册 for your next 学期, the 计费过程 starts. If you are unable to 注册 due to a 金融 hold, visit our 金融 hold 决议路线图 to resolve the issue.

通常情况下, a month or two before the start of the 学期, BW will begin 创建 and issuing 学生计费语句 and make them 可用 in MyRecords. Your bill will 反映 both 指控 from the 大学 (学费、 BW room, meal plan, etc.), as well as the aid we are able to 支付 into your 账户. Aid can 支付 at 不同 times 根据 on the type of aid:

如果我一学期开始就加课或退课怎么办?

Once a term's 添加/删除 period has passed, the 学费指控 and aid 资格 are set. 调整 in the 学费 charge and 金融 aid 资格 may occur if a 学生减少 or 增加 the number of credit hours for which they are 登记.

如果我改变我的住房状况呢?

Your 金融 aid is based on the 指控 issued by BW. If your 金融 aid offer was based on you living 校园, your 金融 aid 资格 was 计算 based on 指控 of 学费, room and BW meal plan. There are several reasons why certain types of 金融 aid may not be 认为 to your 学生账户.

If your FAFSA was 选择 for 联邦验证, you will have been 通知 by email (and/or postal mail for 传入的学生) to visit your MyRecords portal for any 要求文档. If you happen to miss the email 通知, the phrase "Your FAFSA has been 选择 for 验证” will also appear on the paper version of your offer letter. 验证 must be 完成 to have any 联邦 or need based aid 支付 to your 账户. 联邦 Direct Loan
