Small class sizes, individual attention and faculty mentoring are at the core of BW's studio art program.

BW's proximity to Cleveland puts you within a 20-minute drive to 杰出的 机会. Most students have multiple 实习 prior to 毕业. Cleveland offers access to numerous cultural 设施, including the 世界知名的 Cleveland Museum of Art. 教育 trips plus field 经历 at private art 画廊, auction houses and museums make learning career relevant.

独立的 STUDY

独立的 study offers students 浓缩 机会 beyond the classroom for 个性化的 and advanced study. Students work 一对一的 with a faculty member.

The gallery holds six 展览 each year that feature student work and Ohio artists.

STUDENT CLUBS & 组织

Art Attack Club
The club provides 机会 for students to learn about the fields of studio and visual arts to help prepare them for careers in the visual arts or for further study.

Arts 管理 协会 (AMA)
The AMA provides service to area arts 组织 and the BW community. It also sponsors 专业 发展 机会 for its members, including all the arts (art, dance, music and theatre) as well as those that focus on 非营利性 and 以营利为目的 sectors. The 协会 has 合作伙伴关系 with various 组织 in 克利夫兰 including The Cleveland 管弦乐队, and assists in the promotion and operation of 大学-sponsored arts events and festivals. Member 活动 have included networking trips to New York City, Chicago and Toronto; Arts Advocacy Day Conference in 华盛顿, D.C.; and grant writing workshops with panelists from leading 组织.
